• 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup GOODB Honey
  • 1/4 cup mixed seeds (pumpkin, sunflower, flax)
  • 1/4 cup ghee (clarified butter)
  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
  • A pinch of saffron strands
  • 1 cup milk
  • Oil for frying

For Syrup:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water

1. Prepare Syrup:

  • In a saucepan, combine sugar and water. Bring to a boil and let it simmer until the sugar dissolves completely. Keep the syrup warm.

2. Ghewar Batter:

  • In a mixing bowl, add all-purpose flour and ghee. Mix well to form a crumbly texture.
  • Slowly add milk and mix to form a smooth batter. The batter should be of pouring consistency.

3. Frying Ghewar:

  • Heat oil in a wide, shallow pan. Use a ladle to pour the batter in the hot oil, creating a lacy pattern.
  • Allow the ghewar to cook on low heat until it turns golden and crisp. Remove and drain excess oil.

4. Saffron Infusion:

  • Warm 1/4 cup of milk and add saffron strands. Let it steep for a few minutes.

5. Assembling:

  • Dip the fried ghewar in warm sugar syrup, allowing it to soak for a minute. Remove and drain excess syrup.

6. Honey and Seed Drizzle:

  • While the ghewar is still warm, drizzle GOODB Honey over it generously.
  • Sprinkle the mixed seeds and cardamom powder on top for added flavor and crunch.

7. Serve and Enjoy:

  • Garnish with saffron-infused milk and a few more seeds.
  • Serve the GOODB Honey and Seed Ghewar warm and relish the delightful blend of textures and flavors.
