HONEY-SEED LADOOS: A NUTRITIOUS DIWALI
This Diwali, elevate your culinary experience with a delightful and nutritious recipe: Honey-Seed Ladoos. - 1 cup mixed seeds (pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, flax seeds, chia seeds)
- 1/2 cup GOODB Honey
- 1 cup desiccated coconut
- 1/2 cup nuts (almonds, cashews, pistachios), finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
- Ghee for greasing hands
1. Roasting the Seeds:
In a dry pan, roast the mixed seeds over low heat until golden brown and fragrant. Remove from heat and let them cool.
In a mixing bowl, combine the roasted seeds, desiccated coconut, chopped nuts, and cardamom powder.
Warm the GOODB Honey slightly and pour it over the mixture. Mix well until it sticks together.
Shaping the Ladoos:
Apply a little ghee to your palms to prevent sticking. Take a small portion of the mixture and shape it into a ladoo using your hands.
Repeat until all the mixture is used, forming bite-sized ladoos.
4. Setting the Ladoos:
Place the ladoos on a tray lined with parchment paper.
Let them cool and set at room temperature for a few hours.
