Ingredients:

  • 1 cup rice flour
  • 1/2 cup gram flour (besan)
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup GOODB honey
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup ghee (clarified butter)
  • 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
  • A pinch of salt
  • A few drops of food color (optional)
  • Chopped nuts (almonds, cashews) for garnish

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Batter:

In a mixing bowl, combine rice flour, gram flour, all-purpose flour, and a pinch of salt.

Gradually add water and whisk to make a smooth, lump-free batter.

2. Cooking the Batter:

In a pan, heat ghee over medium heat.

Add the batter to the pan and stir continuously to avoid lumps.

Cook until the batter thickens and starts to leave the sides of the pan.

3. Add GOODB Honey:

Add GOODB honey to the batter and mix well.

Stir in cardamom powder for flavor. You can also add a few drops of food color if desired.

4. Continue Cooking:

Keep stirring the mixture until it thickens and forms a cohesive, stretchy consistency.

5. Shape the Candy:

Once the mixture reaches a candy-like consistency, remove it from heat.

Allow it to cool slightly, so it's easy to handle.

6. Forming Mittai:

Grease your hands with ghee and take small portions of the mixture.

Roll each portion into a ball or shape them into small cylindrical pieces.

7. Garnish:

Optionally, garnish each Thaen Mittai with chopped nuts while they are still warm.

8. Serve or Store:

Let the Thaen Mittai cool completely before serving.

Store in an airtight container to maintain freshness.

Conclusion:

Enjoy your GOODB Thaen Mittai.

Note: Adjust the quantity of GOODB honey based on your sweetness preference. You can also experiment with the addition of other flavorings like saffron or rose water for variation.
